It's funny how our careers sometimes come full-circle. I started my first company at the age of 20. What a thrill ride that was! There's a pride in working for yourself that you cannot get anywhere else. However, it was also like getting an MBA from the School of Hard Knocks.

In the decades since, I have worked as an employee, a contractor and as a consultant. Each model gave me deep insights into some best-practices and worst-practices in terms of strategic planning, hiring, sales, and most aspects of operations management. The most valuable thing I've discovered is that the more I learn, the more I learn that I don't know. That's where other people come in. I came to recognize that we all can thrive more quickly by working with others who have experienced what we are going though. We don't have to be experts on everything. We just have to be willing to help others and allow ourselves to get help.

Back when I owned the Circle Music company, I desperately wanted a trusted advisor or mentor that really cared about me and my business. Alas, that was not to be. However, I promised myself that when the time came, I would start a new consulting and coaching practice dedicated to small businesses and owner/operators so that they could leverage everything that I and our combined experiences have to offer. Now is the time. Welcome to LEVR Consulting!
